We had an oceanfront veiw with beach access for a good price. I say value because it was not the Hilton. What it was, was a clean, neat, recently updated vintage facility with great charm and located within walking distance to everything you wanna do or eat! The bathroom was actually very well done and very modern! Loved that bathroom!...

Room was clean, comfortable and efficient. Kids loved the pool. Service was friendly and accommodating. Hope to visit again soon..
Wish offered coupons towards rates.
Excellent location, close to shops, entertainment and food!
Great family vacation area.

Decided to take a weekend get away to OBX and stayed at Owns Motel (10/15 -10/17/2015) because of cheap rates, so we were not expecting much considering the cheap rates. But, the rooms were nasty, smelling of years of mold, carpet was filthy and bath tub/shower would back up with almost a 12" of water, meaning you were standing in...

On a positive note, the location just across the street from the beach was great, it was nice to have the tiny fridge and microwave, folks were nice, and the rates were about the lowest.
BUT -- I would absolutely not recommend this hotel -- try anywhere else.
Having stayed at plenty of budget hotels, we fully expected to have...

Owens' Motel is an affordable, budget hotel in the heart of Nags Head, NC. If you are looking for a short visit to the outer banks and aren't planning to rent an entire vacation house for a week, this hotel provides a reasonable alternative.
