I love the food! Even more, I love the friendly service which makes all the difference. Leon happily made my dish vegetarian with some vegan sausage, veggies, and coconut rice and peas complete with my favorite, fried plantains--it was as fresh as home cooked food. Ortanique is everything a neighborhood restaurant should be - friendly, warm, delicious, easy and best of all very affordable. If this restaurant were in a busier location, you wouldn't be able to get in the door, I'm convinced of that. As a resident, I'm glad its still a well kept secret, though for Leon's sake, I'd like the word to spread a little more, ideally so he can offer more choices...
