The Orpheum is a beautiful old building with great A/C... what more can you ask for in Phoenix

Business description (2)

This property offers access for patrons with disabilities.

This downtown architectural jewel, which has made the National Register of Historic Places, always manages to upstage any performance it books. Built in 1929, the Orpheum was heroically rescued from the wrecking ball by the City of Phoenix in 1984. With the help of both public and private backing, the elaborate Spanish Revivalist building--similar in baroque exuberance to L.A.'s Pantages Theater--was recently restored to its former faux-finished and carved-stucco glory with an $11.4 million restoration.
