My girlfriend and I went to Orleans on the Front before a show at the Orpheum. We walked in with an hour to spare, and alerted our server of our time constraints. After speaking with the waitress, my girlfriend got an appetizer and I got grilled shrimp, two "fast dishes" that were supposed to be "out in a bit". Best Cajun Cuisine in Memphis...cool New Orleans atmosphere. Service can be terrible though.

I am from Louisiana so you can count on me to be skeptical of anything that says cajun or creole. This is some of the best food, inside Louisiana or out, that I have put in my mouth.

Try the sweet potatoe fritters, the Lucky Voodoo Greens, the Red Beans and Rice, or anything else on the menu (those are all tasty side items).

Cayenne Moon is definitely our favorite restaurant in Memphis, actually our favorite restaurant period. Every dish we have ever ordered there is nothing but wonderful, and that says alot seeing as though we have eaten there over 20 times. Polly is so pleasant and makes you feel as though you are joining her in her own home for dinner. We highly recommend this restaurant.
