This place is not on the Riverwalk with the overrated high priced restaurants. This is a simple, high quality place that has fresh food with an authentic taste. The staff is friendly and this is where the locals eat. It is a 5 minute walk from most Riverwalk hotels on St Mary's and simply is the best. It is only open for breakfast and lunch, unfortunately. There are literally thousands of mexican food restaurants in San Antonio. I would only recommend a few -- Blanco Cafe is one of the top five mexican food restaurants in San Antonio.
