Valentine's Day pre fixe tasting menu. Horrible service. Waited 30 minutes between courses. Really poor execution on a couple courses. Serious attitude from hostess. No apologies. Bad night for Back 40 (and us).

When Back 40 Kitchen first opened I had two fantastic lunches there. I was so excited to go back for dinner. Sadly, I would have to say it was "fine". Unmemorable, undistinguished but fine. But, a chicken breast for $32 should be better than that.

We had a lovely dinner - food was super yummy and healthy. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and of course the food. Only complaints were lack of specialty cocktail options and breadth of wine options. Their wine pours were really, really stingy as well. We appreciated the chef coming out to check on our meal and chatted with us for a bit as well.
