This is a lovely hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It took a little while to find my way around the facilities but the staff was very helpful. The convenient close proximity to the convention center is also a plus.

This hotel desparately wants to be the behemoth grand old dame it used to be, and although the restored building is interesting and the historic displays are informative, the staff and general guest service neither lives up to its historic roots nor has stepped into the modern era of guest service.
