This local favorite has a festive and inviting neighborhood atmosphere and offers a delightful blend of Greek and Mediterranean dishes, such as mouthwatering dolmades, rich spanikopita, sweet pastitso, and spicy beef-filled grape leaves. They are open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner; closed on Sundays.

This place is great. Best place for Greek bar none in this area. Spanakopita, Pastitsio, Yigendes are all delicious, and the Dolmades are to die for! People who give this place a bum rap probably don't have any idea what Greek is in the first place. We love this place!
Best Greek food in Hampton Roads bar none. The salad was wonderful with just the right amount of everything. I loved the bread and butter that they bring before your meal. Prices are excellent and the atmosphere makes you truely feel as though you are somewhere different. Sometimes the waitstaff can be a little slow but when the food comes it is worth the wait. The lunch pizza/salad combo is definitely worth it as well. I try to go here at least once a week. It's that good.
I would say the fare here is American-Greek vs. true Greek like you'd find in Chicago's Greektown. But I am not complaining one bit!
I had an excellent dish & the service was wonderful. Three was an adequate selection of wines and the prices were terrific. It's not a date place -- more like a lunch or dinner with the husband & kids restaurant -- but I'll definitely be back.
The Scene
Lilting Greek music wafts from outdoor speakers beckoning would-be diners into the unpretentious neighborhood inn. Inside, against a wood-paneled backdrop, green ivy coils...
Have not dined at O's in a few years. Interior now looks updated, great, local atmosphere. Comfortable for families and dates. Ordered the gyro platter, delicious with plenty of meat and dipping sauce. Disappointed in the salad that came with it, thought it would be more like a Greek salad but it was just a basic set of greens. Baklava...
With the exception of the calamari which is so-so on a good day, the rest of the menu is excellent.
I have eaten at a lot of Greek restaurants and the saganaki (goat's cheese that is flamed) is out of the world. It is OUTSTANDING. The pizza is very good as well, and the lamb is very tasty.
in 1966, Louis Seretis purchased a small confectionery. It was called "Orapax" for the street upon which the front door opened. Through that door, regular patrons, mainly longshoremen, railroad workers, and other locals, came to purchase medicine, cigars, and Louie's own "Poorman's" sandwiches -- Spam and cheese on white bread. Others drifted in to have a beer or shoot a game of pool.
Go to Orapax Inn for a place that dishes up Greek food. Expect the average entrée to cost for the most part in the range of $8 to $12, and guests typically dress casual.
While prices vary with selection, a decent bottle of table wine can accompany any meal for under $13.
