I have been there for warranty work three times and every time there have been problems. One time I went to pick up my RV on the scheduled day and I was told that they had parts on order. You would think after two weeks they would call me to let me know. I am standing at the service counter and another couple told me this was them last week. My Onan generator constantly shut off after 30 min. They said it was a quart low on oil (with 22 hours running time….) added a quart and charged me for oil and one hour labor. The next time I took the trailer out it had the same error and problem with the generator it died after 30 min. This time I took it to a Onan repair center and they replace the carburetor because it was unable to maintain the required output frequency. The generator now works fine. The owner of Orangewood insists the generator was low on oil and refused to refund my money, although everyone I talk to say their generators have over one hundred hours on them and have never added oil. Every time I go to that dealer there is so much miss communication or no communication it is very frustrating. I would do your self a favor and never take anything to this RV dealer. Their customer satisfaction is non existent.
Never again! Where do I start? Sales=deceptive used car "salesman". Service=same description as sales when it comes to direct questions. No calls are ever returned so you might as well go there and corner the coachroaches. They bill for warranty work at $120/man hour yet their highest paid service guy's rate is $20/hr. I'm surprised any manufacturer will accept them as a dealer of their products. They have been dropped by one dealer that I've had personal experience with. I feel sorry for the unsuspecting retired couple that invests with this company. Is you can buy somewhere else, do it. Just because I'm between a rock and a hard place doesn't mean you have to be. We bought a well portrayed "lemon" that we can't get work done on or if it is done (one item has been fixed in 3 months) the work fell apart on our next trip. They won't give us a fair price for a new unit in return and we can't get the list of corrections done in a timely and competitant manner. Karma works. I just hope I'm around long enough to see it come to fruition here. All in all this is just my experience and from what I've seen on other websites the complaints aren't only my own. So join the ranks or go elsewhere.
This RV dealership will keep your RV for months! Without actually fixing the problem. When you call to check on the status, they will give you false information. If you call to complain, they are rude and inconsiderate. They ask YOU to do all the legwork for the warranty center.
