The Scene A quintessential big-city hotel, this bustling Bunker Hill institution is adjacent to the Museum of Contemporary Art and close to Little Tokyo and Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral. Little Tokyo neighbor makes a decent value with upscale façade. Perfect for wedding parties and corporate credit cards. Sense of luxury diminished when everything incurs a charge. Fresh flowers, sauna/spa, swimming pool, garden, and fab eats at Noe. Business-style elegance. Ken Lay says, 'what a steal!' Coincidentally drops dead while in perfect health at a somewhat young age shortly before... more

The Omni chain forsook its old location (now the Wilshire Grand) to assume this boxy tower at the top of Bunker Hill because, as they say, location is everything: It's adjacent to the Museum of Contemporary Art and within walking distance of the L.A. Music Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, making the Omni Downtown's best base for culture buffs.... more

I stay at the Omni each time I'm in LA for business. I'm a "Select Guest" and the extra benefits this program offers are outstanding (priority check-in, late check-out, complimentary beverages and newspaper, turndown service). The staff even remembers me each time I come back and knows that I like extra pilows in my room! Great value too! Great location - close to Downtown business offices.

I stayed here this past weekend for the USC/Cal game at less than $100 through hotwire, and it was absolutely perfect! Great location... you just have to know that downtown is NOT a party spot on the weekends. The room was large and comfortable, and the service here is excellent! Definitely worth its 4-star rating.
Beware the $26 for valet per day... we parked on the lot on Olive between 1st... more

Omni Hotel is worthy of its name. Its not very expensive. It has a beautiful lobby and lounge, a pool, spa, gym, and all the amenities of a luxury hotel. The rooms are well-equipped, cozy, and fresh.
Its very close to almost everything that would interest a sightseer.
The overnight parking is expensive, at least $20 a day, but its seemingly the only option.
