This is a classic business-oriented hotel right next to the sights around Independence Hall. That's a bit ironic considering that there isn't all that many business locations nearby, although it's only about a 5 to 10 minute cab ride to City Hall and the financial district. The hotel is very nice and in an excellent location. I would not agree w/ another writer that it would compare to a Ritz.

We booked 30 days ahead for a special getaway. When we arrived our reservation for a non smoking room was ignored, "because our rooms are full" after a sleepless night in a smelly room our request for a new room was ignored and a request to at least change all the bedding and pillows was also ignored.
