The Venue The school's Armitage Avenue location is now the Children's Center, and it's a concert venue unlike any other. Acts are performed on the same minimal stage where music classes gather and play for each other at the end of each semester. Bands are freed from the grandiose musical gestures that come with performing to a huge crowd and tend to be more relaxed and informal, often... more

The teachers are extremely skilled, both at music and education. Their prices are... more

Everyone I know goes here or has gone here at one time. It's been in the Lincoln Square neighborhood for ages! Music classes, of course, in addition to performances. I've always found the teachers to be just excellent. It's just one of those great neighborhood places where you see people you know all the time.
