This is just a great restaurant. The setting is perfect for many types of consumers. While we've had date nights here we have also visited with little ones. We always feel welcome. The staff do not hurry the experience and let you enjoy your meal as it should be enjoyed, no matter how busy, or how many people are waiting....

If we lived in DC, there is no doubt we would become regulars here. Perfect, authentic, more than delicious - scrumptious - Bavarian classics! Sauerbraten, schnitzel, red cabbage, dumplings, spaetzle! Each of us had different meals and every one had something different - all absolute top notch! Meat so flavorful and tender you honestly don't need teeth! Almost no conversation...

We went to old Europe with some family members who have been here before. The plates are big and we went right into the main course. The food is traditional southern German cooking with great warm potato salad, European style cabbage and sausages. large beer and wine selection and great deserts.

5 of us visited Old Europe for the first time for dinner. Promptly seated and very friendly and attentive wait staff. Metered parking on street with mobile app, appears lot parking next store is just for the liquor store. We all enjoyed our appetizers, beers and main courses. We plan on returning for the Wednesday Polka nights!
