I'm not a huge fan of the whole family-style bar and grill setting for when I'm wanting to try craft beers, but it's more tolerable if you're there with a decent amount of friends. Impressive amount of taps, and I do get a kick out of the whole beer club idea. The food's pricey (as it is at any chain like this), but it's better than some other places.
They had good food and service was excellent. I would recommend to try their pizza. It was within walking distance to motel which was nice. Menu is extended so there is a choice for everyone.
Went to Old Chicago after long travel day. Started in Kansas City, flew to Chicago & drove to Bettendorf.
Place was fine. Pizza was good. Nothing special except bar server Shale. He's really nice, great service. Made me feel very welcome. Kept drink full.

I ordered the lunch special which was unlimited salad and bread "sticks" (really more like chunks) and pizza. I decided to order the thin crust this time. Thin was more like 3/4" thick. Greasy as well although I should mention I did order pepperoni. I really think it was the crust that was greasy versus the cheese or pepperoni toppings....
Been coming to the area for eight years for work and I used to spend a good bit of time making this my regular place when in town. About three years ago the menu was changed which eliminated my favorite item, the steak calzone, but their pizza was still my favorite.
