Excellent location for a comfortable multi night stay. The service and experience was excellent and emulated a bit of history. The food and service at The Cafe was amazing as well. I would certainly return some day!

We had only a one-night stay at Oakhurst Inn, but it exceeded our expectations in every way. The accommodations were perfect and the staff was helpful in every way. Next time I'm in Charlottesville, I'll definitely stay there.

For the cost, I was shocked

Room was adequate, but stark and bare. No answer at front desk around 8:30 pm--wanted ice. No hot water in the morning. I won't stay again and can't recommend it. Could not figure out how to turn heat on. Portable heater was not enough to warm bathroom.

Nice location, clean, but over priced for size of room. Staff was pleasant and we had no specific requests. Disappointd that they do not provide a complimentary breakfast however the adjacent cafe sold delicious scones and coffee.

We were looking for a place to spend a couple of days in in North Virginia at the start of a week's holiday and Charlottesville seemed to be the right distance to drive after a transs-Atlantic flight. We wanted to visit Monticello on our trip.
