This place could be thriving if not for the awful management. Half of the time you go in there, NOBODY i out front. They're always in the back talking. I'm not talking about one incident; I'm talking about my experience over nearly two years. I can't tell you how many times I've walked in there and not a single employee is out front. Many times I've seen customers waiting, then shrug their shoulders and walk out, unable to even get acknowledged. To make matters worse, the guys fixing the pizza look down and ignore you. There's no reason they can't call a server.
I finally stopped going. Don't have time to stand there and wait.
I was in NYPD Pizza the other day and I saw Drew Barrymore, very random!
They have the most amazing calzones and I am in love with the pizza, being from Brooklyn myself, I know what good pizza is.
Michele needs to learn how to spell and obviously isn't from New York, we all have too much pride to knock down anything regarding our hometown, oh and would never accept Dominos as real pizza. What a joke. Eat at NYPD Pizza people, the Burbank Leader loves it and so do I.
From a Real New Yorker
NYPD pizza brings NY feel and flavor to LA. They have a lot of pizzas plus calzones, vegetable and suasage rolls, pasta and other Italian fare. There are several lunch specials and pizza to go, so if you are in a hurry, like a New Yorker, you can always find someting to eat. The price, parking on San Fernando, etc. are all easy and convenient.

The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere and the staff were great. The waitress was very attentive and could see that our boys were a bit restless. She made sure to bring our food ASAP. The pizza was good and the prices were reasonable. I'm sure we'll be back!

This is a great little place in downtown Burbank. The pizza is so much better then Dominos or Pizza hut. They provide quick service, the staff are very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. They packed my to go order very carefully. When I got home, I gobbled up the whole pizza. I got a thin crust small pizza, and I would have to say it us the best in Burbank.
