The Press Release from NYKB is written by a PR group. I anxiously anticipate the post of your NEW protocols..8 years in business and 8 years of shoddy work. You have to overhaul your whole business and start taking responsibility.. Oh wait that will cost you $10,997. Please remit payment.

NYKB dazzles you with their showroom. You end up paying 1/4mil and/or more for an amateur renovation with substandard materials. Also your money is not put in escrow which is illegal. Dust is the least of your problems.. Save money. hire an architect and contractors recommended by friends. (See the actual work first)

The Worst of the Worst
Concur with NYCountess. Even vaguely positive review of NYKB? Be assured that it was written and posted by NYKB. Long story short, they didn't put my deposit in escrow nor did they provide a bond and they destroyed my home. Complete disaster. Google, google, google. And do a little research using the e-courts feature at courts.state.ny.us.
Perry Hiiman's "response" to the customer below is completely misleading. NYKB's practice is to ignore complaints OR threaten to walk off jobs. The collection of emails I have from Mr. Hiiman would suggest he's got a rude, obnoxious, bullying alter ego if his comment here--clearly not written by Mr. Hiiman, but by a PR person--is to be believed.

I turned to NYKB as a full service provider company. As a mother of 2 whom works a full time job, I find it very helpful to have someone take care of the process. NYKB took responsibility of everything, leading to the renovation of my kitchen and 2 bathrooms. They contacted the management company and ordered the materials. This allowed me to focus on other aspects of my life and not to worry about the construction.
During the countertop installation, we had a bit of a glitch. The countertop cracked. I was panicking since I needed to cook and used my kitchen. NYKB totally took on the responsibility and apologized. I had a beautiful countertop installed in my kitchen in less than a week with the help of there materials dept.
Even though my project took longer than expected, workers have been in my apartment on a daily basis. I guess you can’t always be prepared to everything.
I was very pleased with the final results and the way I was treated. I recommend NYKB to those of us who need to renovate their kitchen or bath and cant afford to dedicate so much time to the process that leads to the construction and completion.

I MUST SAY Through the phase of design after I hired NYKB, I discovered the building required an additional upgrade of plumbing. Since NYKB informed me in advance, I was prepared for the extra expense. I'm happy with the work they did in my bathroom and in the future I might think about renovating my kitchen as well.
