With all its plantation charm
Nottoway is apparently the largest remaining plantation in the South. I was here about a week ago to eat lunch and man the Louisiana cooking was excellent - try the riverbend chicken, with its layer of tasty thick etouffe. This place is apparently quite the bed & breakfast as well. I didn't get to check out the entire plantation but the grounds looked peaceful and Southern, just like you'd imagine it would.
