I get to spend a lot of time at this hospital with my two Animal Assisted Therapy Dogs. We get to see how hard the staff works everyday. They are very compassionate and caring. They also treat Yukon Clarice and me very nicely. We love our visits to this fine Hospital !

I've visited 3 different departments at NCH in the past year: Emergency Room, Labor and Delivery, and the NICU. I've been greatly impressed with all departments, especially the NICU. The neonatal nurses and doctors are truly special people with years and years of experience and knowledge. And are extremely helpful and friendly. I could write a novel of praises for the NICU team. I had a wonderful experience with your day surgery staff. Everyone was genuinely so nice, and helpful. My nurse Mary D was so nice and helped so much because I was very nervous. My after surgery nurse Barbara was so sweet and took very good care of me. Keep up the great work Northwest!!

I am so surprised and angry doctors are NOT participating in the Illinois Medical Marijuana program . What a horrible system this place has to get people in to have tests done. Waited 1.5 hours to have first test and have to wait 3 hours to complete my test. You would think that they could see that they have a patient that has a three hour test and get them started right away. The staff have been rude, not caring and rather unpleasant. Even in an emergency, your comfort and privacy are important to us. The NCH Emergency Department includes private rooms as well as specialty rooms for trauma, critical care, isolation and behavioral health.
