I'm pretty disappointed overall after going there for a FAA medical exam and getting mixed information from the staff. Dr Eapen told me directly she would be issuing a certificate to me at the end of my appointment (after she completed my exam), however when I was given the paperwork the box for "deferred" was checked, even though there were no abnormal findings. Dr. Eapen has been my husband's and my personal physician since we moved back to Virginia several years ago. She is approachable with a calm understanding demeanor. I highly recommend Dr. Eapen. I was very pleased by her thoughtful attention to the details of my current physical condition and surprised by the considerable additional time she spent with me discussing strategies to maintain and improve my health. She is both a doctor and a coach, a combination that will motivate me to work harder on good health practices.
