I took my 4x4 snowplow truck to this shop to get transmission rebuilt. He told me he put in completely different rebuilt transmission. Approximately 6000 miles later it started coming apart. My name is Marvin. My entire family has used Kirk's services at North Dort Transmission. So much so we know him on a first name basis. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and professional. We took our 4x4 to get a bid as it had lost reverse, they gave a great price to rebuild our trans, we accepted. When we picked it up it didn't last 5 miles. We took it back, when we picked it up the second time it lasted a few hours. We took it back and now they want to charge us more than anyone else to rebuild plus keep the initial money paid for nothing. RIP OFF. I could not post without...

I would not even give this company one star. I took my van here for them to rebuild the front differential. this was back in May this is now Oct and I still am walking and taking the bus because no one can figure out what they did to my van. it shakes makes a very large clunk noise and will not run at all I would never ever ever want my worst enemy to go here avoid at all cost
