I live in Anoka and just recently found this shop hidden in the old Post Office building. It is actually quite the gem- I have 3 kids and always need ideas to keep them busy over the summer. The owner, who is frequently there when I shop always can find just the right thing. My kids love it because the books are used so I let them buy more. Great store!

Sid's has friendly service and a nice wine selection. They have great prices on most wines and the staff is helpful.

I used to go to Teacher's Pet quite often, despite the high prices, to support a locally owned business. However, after being treated extremely rudely by the owner and hearing from friends about their rude treatment at this store, I will no longer shop here. If you want friendly, helpful service, this is NOT the place to go.
