We bought a New Dryer from NorWest Appliance and when it was delivered it was damaged. I called Norwest Appliance and they said that it was my problem and that I needed to contact GE. I called GE, the service man came out and said that the Dryer had been dropped and was all bent up inside. I called Norwest back and spoke to the owner and explained to him that I would like to exchange this dryer for a new one. I did not want this damaged dryer. He told me that he could NOT exchange it.. and that I was basically stuck with it and that GE could 'fix' it with replacement parts... This company is HORRIBLE when it comes to customer service and I should have just bought the Dryer from Lowes or Home Depot. Buyer BEWARE!
We purchased appliances from this company and have had numerous problems with them. The appliances are Electrolux and shortly after the cooktop was installed (by installers contracted to Nor-West) it exploded throwing my wife 3 ft. back into the countertop. It hurt her back and bruised her. A call was placed to Mr. Barnes who was not at all sympathetic. In fact before the conversation was over Mr. Barnes cursed me with very abusive language. I would never buy from Nor-West appliance again. I have had problems with all the Electrolux appliances and would never purchase the brand again. Electrolux did nothing to help me either even after I complained about the problems many times and the treatment I received from their distributor, Nor-West appliance. The installers did a shoddy job also, leaving a gas line loose, and breaking a leveling screw on the refrigerator. I am investigating to find out if they are even licensed to install appliances.
I've built and remodelled houses with appliances from Norwest. I've always had very good service and good prices. A great place to get your appliances!
Stay away from these guys. Poor customer service.....start to finish. Decent prices, just hope everything goes well. Pros: null Cons: null
