Nicole's Gourmet Foods

Nice selection of French cheeses

Also pate, dried salamis, olives, sandwiches made to order, some wine, cooking supplies--Nicole's has a little of everything. Swing by on Thursday afternoons while the South Pas Farmer's Market is on.

A lovely little place. Great cheeses, olive oils, pate... Very reasonable prices. Nicole and her people are very helpful.

My only complaint is that they're not open on Sunday.

Homemade mousse au chocloat, wonderful stinky cheeses and bright yellow tablecloths abound. Nicole is really from France, and most of the staff are fluent, so you can even come on down here for a little practice speaking the ol' francais-- dust off your high... more

I love to go to Nicole's to check out the baking supplies, different kind of world-class quality chocolates. Another favorite is their Mighty Tea Leaf tea bags. These are the best and it is so hard to find a supplier if you live in East L.A. Nicole's is so nicely located, right next to the Gold Line Mission Station so I can just hop in and hop out anytime. Their cheeses and breads are yummy... more
