Definitely good banh mi no doubt. However, I wouldn't say that it's the best in NYC. I would say that if you've already made it down to the LES, make the extra trek over to China Town's Saigon Bakery for a more authentic, cheaper, and generously portioned sandwich. I've been a fan of Vietnamese sandwiches for a long time back when it was a little known side menu item in the court house district downtown. A few places in Chinatown served them but it was a very insider thing.
