My children love this place. The pool is very kid friendly. They've got a play structure for the smaller kids with water spouting out everywhere. The lazy river goes in a full circle and in the center of that circle is where you end up after going down one of the two water slides. The other pool has basketball hoops and volleyball nets in the water where the older kids like to play. I love that...

If you live in or near Newark, I think one of the best resources availabe is the Newark Community Center. You can find all sorts or activities to sign up for and they have options for every kind of budget. It appeals to families, mostly. Children can sign up for summer camp here to keep them busy during the hot summer months. There are also dance lessons for girls and karate or martial arts...
