This wildly popular steakhouse with swift, professional service, a classy supper club ambiance and extensive wine list has topped “best of” lists for close to 20 years. Operations may be disrupted due to COVID-19. Be sure to contact the restaurant to find out its current status and offerings.New York Prime Restaurant Review

Dramatic dark woods craft a perfect space for guy dining, with high-energy and lots of ambient noise---but the huge steaks are the main attraction (for the ladies, too). The best way to order them is to focus on the color and temperature you want. Thus, medium rare is a warm red center. And we suggest you target the bone-in rib-eye or the New York strip. Double-cut lamb chops totaling 24 ounces...

"If you want to impress", fans recommend this "classic steakhouse" in Buckhead offering "huge portions" of "mouthwatering" steaks and "fresh" seafood, along with "exceptional" service in a "classy" setting; it's a "fun scene for professionals" (though some "object" to the "cigar-friendly bar"), and while it can be "expensive", most agree it's "well worth it."

Atlanta's latest bank-busting beef bonanza gets the essentials right.

I expected More from the high-end steakhouse the food was excellent. The sides were not that great overall noise level was way too high to enjoy dinner and have conversations with my friends. General area was very very elegant. Staff was not overly friendly with more of a professional relationship and not friendly were you banter and make food off of money on dinner for a celebration I would...

“Hello! We’re thankful for the restaurant staff’s patience, especially as some of our elderly attendees arrived late due to constraints. Despite that, we’re grateful for the time we had together.”

Went here for my Birthday dinner having never been here before (so was a bit nervous it could be a disaster). Had absolutely NOTHING to worry about, the dinner was outstanding! Food and service were incredible, Jeff could not have done anything better. My only regret is I waited so long to come here! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!!

Tips about this business (2)

Know Before You Go

The restaurant can be tricky to find. From 400, get off at the Lenox exit heading toward Peachtree and watch carefully for signs leading to Monarch Drive. The restaurant is in the base of an office building where Monarch ends.

What to Drink

The extensive wine list--with dependably enjoyable choices in every price tier--can be largely attributed to co-owner Jerry Greenbaum, who also owns the two Green's liquor stores in Atlanta, both of which have excellent fine wine selections.
