I always wanted to come here and never seemed to be able to catch them when they were open. Today was the day I finally was able to experience New York Deli and it exceeded my expectations! Ginormous, super tasty sandwiches, life-changing soups, decent prices, and fantastic customer service! ?? I wish I could eat here every day!

NYD has become my favorite place to eat in the UP!!! The soup is the next best thing to a HUG from your favorite person!!! All ingredients for sandwiches and salads are fresh no matter time of day you visit! Will be back, more than I should! Love it!

I tried the beef brisket and was very disappointed. The meat was dry and flavorless. The bread was also dry and I thought it would be better off grilled. The dejion mustard tasted like plain yellow mustard. It had a funky flavor I couldn't put my finger on. The coleslaw was bland but salvageable with salt and pepper.
