With Kathy, Keely & Tony to see MerrilyWe Roll Along.

Admire the beautiful new Moroccan ceiling!

good moving job for little money. We had to find the mover urgently and I found this company on the web. Reviews were OK, so we hired them for our move from Manhattan to Edgewater, NJ. What can I say... Very well done. They had ability to do the next day job. The quote was right, this is very important. Our piano and all the other furniture were moved without any damages. I would not ask for anything else. View More View Less

new york city movers. Good job! Thank you very much A&A Alliance Moving Inc. Very reasonable rates and very good and prompt service. Thank very much for doing my move on such a short notice. All my stuff arrived without any damages and my bedroom furniture is set up just the way i wanted it. No scratches on brand new floor or anywhere else. I hope everyone will get the same treatment from NYC movers. View More View Less

For my 200th review - New York City! How I love and hate you at the same time. It's like that girlfriend/boyfriend you keep wanting to break up with, but then notice something they say or do that sucks you right back into their arms. In my years at my job I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot and visit many states and cities all throughout this country. They each have a specialness to them, but when I am sitting on a plane and look out the window to see the lights of NYC I realize I am truly home. It is a comforting feeling. The best and worst of people. The caustic waiters. The cool bartenders. The neighbors you see every day but don't even know their names. The crazy guy talking to himself walking down the street. Rich Wall Streeters. Poor homeless. The kamakaze delivery guys on their bikes. Hipsters. Squares. UES moms with their uber expensive baby carriages. People with all types of dogs. Young transplants. Old warriors who have lived here a lifetime. Too many others to list that all make up the fabric of life here. From amazing high-end restaurants, to everyday diners and holes in the wall. Coffee carts. Halal carts. Foods of all nations - Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Polish, German, Thai, Vietnamese, Latin cuisines, etc - NYC has it all from all over the world. From a hot dog to an expensive steak. And most all of them deliver! Central Park to Governor's Island, UES, Midtown, LES, Chelsea, UWS, Harlem, Brooklyn, and all in between. NYC has it's own unique identity, but is complicated as a person with multiple personalities. You peel away one layer only to find many more. From the tallest buildings to the smallest tenaments. From the gothic and classical, to the modern and chic. The wonderful bridges. The churches and synagogues. The architecture has us all looking up at times mouths agape. Bars, clubs, nightlife personified. Cabs, subways, buses, all at our disposal for taking us to our party destinations, or bringing us safely home. Broadway musicals and plays. Special events. Times Square. Museums, culture, graffiti, and the arts. All exist under one umbrella. Macy's largest store in the world, to small boutique shops. Bodegas everywhere when you need that last minute ingredient, to the nauseating amount of Starbucks and Dunkin Doughnuts on every corner. From the crime and grime, to the outrageous fees, taxes, and rents. Rats the size of cats, and cockroaches the size of rats. Dirty politicians, busted Albany, hope with a new Governor. Crazy winters and hotter summers. 9/11. Blackouts. Celebrities walking down the street with us side by side. You see it all here. There is just too much to list in one review. I won't even try. We trek on here for some unnamed reason. Maybe it is the excitement that NYC always portrayed, or is it that hopeful exuberence imagined of a time gone by? I don't really know. But I intend to keep searching for that answer, and experiencing it first hand.
