The food was so so , the matradee was not honest looking (he looked liked he wanted a few extra bucks under the table for seating you in the band area if no room ) and they increased my tip about a few bucks on my card (to late when I found that out ) the waitress had an attitude hurry up and leave. This happen around Nov 2008. on a Saturday night. Will never go back.
Cons
- Tipping
Best prime rib, since the problems and shifting at the Golden Ox.
Friendly non-pretentious service. Ask to be seated downstairs on the weekends, intimate setting, live jazz.
Pricey but good for a special occasion, we probably go once a year.
Nearby parking at the 10 Central lot, sometimes valets.
Great date night, or to impress a client, sit upstairs near the historic bar.

The Majestic has stayed true to it's roots with the decor and ambience. The food is great, and reasonable priced. They frequently have live jazz. A great date place.
