Help us make it rightHarlem nocturne cynosure. Hood's first artisanal wine shop begets its first wine bar. Modern vibe, with high-design chairs, sleek wood bar, back wall efficiently doubling as a wine rack. Original vintage list globetrots from Chile to France to Cali. Smuttynose and Allagash for the grape haters. Limited menu, but lots to like among the well-chosen charcuterie and cheese. A little Jacques Torres...
This beloved establishment is no more. Very sad to see Nectar leave, it was a beautiful restaurant.
Pricey but adequate food, when you feel like you are going to drop after the Met galleries.
Great selection of wines and happy hour prices!
Nectar is a wonderful wine bar with a full menu of wines and beers. It is a Harlem scene place where everyone who is important to see can be seen. The small plates are delicious but not a meal. An adult only spot as alcohol is the main menu item.
great selection of wines
Nectar is owned by the same people behind Harlem Vintage, a wine shop right next door. If you find a wine you enjoy at Nectar, chances are you can buy it next door.
While the focus here is on wines (and specifically small estate wines), high quality beer (Blue Moon, Brooklyn Lager, Pilsner Urquell and Duvel), sake, coffee and tea are also available.
The bar's signature drink is called the Nectar, and is made with passion fruit and apricot nectar with a drop of Moscato and filled with Cava.
