I usually go to the Blue Nile, but the ambiance is not ideal. So I decided to try Nazareth Cafe. It also has not the best atmosphere, but it is better. However, the inside is so dark, that you think you're in a nightclub, not a restaurant. Still it isn't too bad, just a tad dark.
The food is wonderful....

I'm sorry, but it's VERY clear that one of the reviews here for Nazareth was written more about a bad relationship than food haha! Also, if you don't like...

Great. Eat here.. I love Ethiopian food and so have been looking for a place to go in Houston now that I have to visit frequently... I tried Addisaba and was a little disappointed... my boyfriend tried Blue Nile and was a little disappointed... so we went to Nazareth together... and loved it. It is as good as I expected, and then some.

During our first visit, we found Nazareth Cafe to be small and conveniently located. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. This is definitely the best Ethiopian restaurant in the Houston area, and we highly recommend it, and ranks among the best Ethiopian restaraunts we have enjoyed in Washington. We will be back soon!
