Hungry? Why wait? Probably because you're a vegan in Chicago and have already tired of the three existing vegan options in the city. Native Foods Café, a California-based vegan restaurant, is filling the void of quality vegan grub by introducing a diverse menu featuring everything from Seitan Skewers marinated in Tandoori spices to simple sweet potato fries.

Editorial review from Citysearch

I love this place.Food is great!!!!!

"Gorge yourself without the guilt" at this California-based chain, a "wholesome" "addition to Chicago's vegan" scene known for "creative" meatless fare that's both "flavorful and satisfying"; "enthusiasm" is the hallmark of the "personally invested staff", and digs are generally "pleasant" too.

One of my favorite "fast food" vegetarian place. Good, healthy and flavorful foods. Honestly, you should try everything on the menu because it's all delicious.

When I've been eating like a frat boy, I re-set my system with their meat-free goodies. Love the faux chicken Soul Bowl & the Native Fries.

I realize they just started delivering food but I was delivered half my food and it wasn't made as specified. The only thing the guy said when I called was that he could refund my order because he wouldn't get another order out tonight. It was really expensive and really unsatisfying. If you're going to eat here I'd just go to the restaurant.

I was pretty excited to see that Native foods started delivering. Great fresh vegan food delivered in cute packaging. I recommend the taco salad.

Love this place. The ambience is nice & casual. This location also has a cute patio. My absolute favorite thing to get here is the firecracker cauliflower bowl which is not available at other locations. I generally love to get the bowls at Native Foods. And their desserts....super yum...creme de la creme without the cream. The peanut butter parfait is my go-to one but sometimes I also like to...

The first time I visited Native Foods Cafe I ordered the Greek Gyro Earth Bowl which was loaded with fresh veggies, quinoa, kale, and seitan. It was delicious. It also fed me for three meals. The...

If I had to go vegan I could probably do it if I had a Native Foods near me. People usually associate vegan with bland, boring food. However, Native Foods stops those vegan stereotypes right in...
