I've been here twice already, and still haven't been able to see nearly half of the whole collection. I love the Renaissance paintings, although all the pieces have been carefully chosen to represent every period in great art. There is much more than just paintings, such as the modern twisted steel pieces. It's neat for an art aficionado, or a great way to introduce new people to the world...

This can be overwhelming to see in just one day, so plan your visit to incorporate a week, if you'd like to truly see and get a feel for all the artwork they house. The layout of the buildings is like a maze, so it's quite easy to miss a painting, which is why I recommend taking a friend or two for extra sets of eyes. It's interesting to see how art has progressed from the Middle Age gothic...

There is something for everyone here. I am a fan of Impressionist painters as well as some of the Renaissance. Their collection is wonderful and even though I live close by, I still am impressed every time I return (which is about twice a year.) The exhibiits are great!
