Horrible facility to work!! Medical leadership is weak and Nursing Leadership is very poor at best....Administration allows nurses to advance on their ability to "brown nose" rather than professional qualifications...management extremely "two faced" trust no one!! They have the lowest quality of care for patients.My Father was released after a fall in his room because no one was attending him while he used the bed side toilet.He could not walk and was deemed medically safe to discharge.They also felt that it was the family duty to lift him on bedside toilet when there.I did because he is my father.I hope they never have a love one that needs medical...
Very poor hospital. They almost killed my mother giving her the wrong IV. Later they did kill her when an incompetent doctor performed an procedure that he had VERY little experience with. GO TO WAKE MED, or PITT, you'll have a lot better chance to live.
I spent almost 2 mos in there, only had a couple bad experiences, but overall I would say most of the staff were awesome,especially ccu and fifth floor. I would gladly go back if I had to go to a hospital. From xray to lab to pt were outstanding, treated me like they really did care, All of the staff other than a few went way over and above in their duties.
