Help us make it rightCouldn't agree more, Hummer. My husband bought a hefty gift certifictae for a party last Christmas. I was sooooo excited, such a creative idea and sounded like a blast. However, scheduling was a nightmare, we emailed and left messages over a dozen times. Never happened. We then left several MORE messages indicating that we would like a refund since they appeared to not be following through and quite frankly the 'fun"" had gone out of it after all this terrible customer service. Have not received a refund or an contact back. So very disappointing. I am only giving 1 star because 0 stars are...
I bought a dinner party for my wife's birthday and unfortunatley I pre paid for it. First he could not schedule a mutually convenient time and told us we could do it later. Now he will not ruturn the multiple phone calls we have made.
I would strongly urge you not to lose your money by doing business with Jim- he ripped us off.
We had so much fun with Chef Paolo we can't wait to do it again! He was organized and patient, but most importantly he told the best stories about his culinary experiences in New York. He kept us laughing the entire night. Add that to delicious food that was prepared on the spot, great wine and a fun group of friends and you have a recipe for a fantastic evening. The paella was absolutely delicious and Chef Paolo made us think we could actually pull it off on or own.
If you want something different that gets your guests involved and having fun, this is the way to go!
I attended one party and it was so fun. It was neat to learn the little tricks from the chef. I learned some simple knife skills that are making my everyday cooking much easier. I learned to roast a pepper. It was so easy! The mushroom soup that we prepared was amazing. I will be trying the recipes that I learned at home. I would highly recommend My Chef Party to anyone that wants to learn some new skills and have fun at the same time.
