The Museum of Discovery and Science and IMAX Theater is a fantastic place for the whole family. We first explored the first floor with all of the animals like bats, fish, alligators, and snakes. Then we went into the discovery center where littloe kids play in there own safe zone area. After we went into the IMAX Theater and saw African Adventure 3D, it was amazing seeing it on the 5 story high...

We took our 15 month old here and he had an ok time. He enjoyed looking at the fish and other animals, but the toddler play area was just too much for him. The activities were mostly for older kids. There was a very small area for the young kids, but 3 kids and 5 parents severely overcrowded it. Honestly, I enjoyed this museum more when it was in the house. It was in an old house and each...

The Fort Lauderdale Museum of Discovery and Science is a fun and educational day-trip for the family. It is quite expensive for a family of four, but buying an annual family pass pays for itself in two visits and is well worth the cost (about $85/year).
