Business Description from the Web
This smallish, cinderblock club inside Kung Fu Coffee caters to a younger alternative crowd who is not afraid to push the limits of style or musical expression. The outside is tattooed with graffiti style artwork, but the inside offers a comfortable, eclectic atmosphere. The local and touring musical talent is mostly punk, hardcore, indie and metal that some find raw, edgy, and creative and...

This partially black-lit, somewhat makeshift hangout downtown has a decidedly punk aesthetic, with precariously low ceilings, cafeteria-style tables, paper lanterns, and indie-rock bumper stickers on the walls. The smallest stage in Music City, wedged near the front doors, is home to sporadic open mic-type activities, typically ranging from poetry to acoustic folk. Designed to provide over-21...

Tips About This Business
True to form, the club keeps irregular hours so be sure to call and find out when performances are scheduled.
Other fringe benefits include access to two computer workstations for email and Web browsing and back-door access to the Muse on show nights.
It's not the safest block in downtown--be mindful during your late-night walk to the car and use the buddy system when available.

I was VERY impressed with the band "The Relatives" that played than night. They were from Nashville. Not only is their sound great but they also put on a fantastic show! The crowd really got...

Well It's not really my kind of place. There was the weirdest crowd there. Old people, children (yes children!), goths, punks, and an all ladies country band singing in the back. Not that this was an issue I just found it odd. It was dirty and way too small. I am not too snobby about my bars, I expect them to be a little grimey but this was just kind of a hole. I had heard great things about...

I perform in a band called Serpent's Pool. We have played at the Muse twice now, and are booked for two more shows. We love it there. The employees are real awesome. And the people that come are always really cool. I personally love just going and sitting in the front of the club on their giant leather couch and talking with everybody.
