Slow to Existentially Bad Service
I made the mistake of eating pizza (or trying to) at Damiano last weekend. The service was very slow and poor. For example, I had bottles of water but they were not opened and I had to ask one of the pizza chefs for glasses to drink. It took about 20 minutes to even order the water and another 30 or 40 to get served a pizza (which did not have the ingredients I asked for.) Everyone on the staff seemed oblivious to the needs of customers. However, the food was a better than the service. Eight of us were split into two groups of four people; the other table got our food (which was then sent to us) and then they didn't get all of _their_ food. I heartily don't recommend them.
So bad it's hilarious
Our waitress was in another world, they played the radio excruciatingly loud, misplaced our orders, and generally made every mistake in the book. The whole night was like something from a bad sitcom. And the food sucks.

I've heard it said that you can't find a good slice of pizza in Los Angeles, but the people who made these false claims obviously haven't been to Domiano, Mr. Pizza, located directly across from the famous Canter's Deli on Fairfax Ave. This sleepless little pizza parlor dishes out your favorite Italian dishes all night long, but if you really want to experience Domiano's properly, then take a...

Tips About This Business
Anytime at all. The place is open (and often packed) till dawn, both for restaurant dining and delivery.
No delivery is too far for Mr. D's pizza crew--as long as you're willing to pay appropriately. For example, a delivery to Silver Lake adds a $10 service charge to the total.
Editorial Reviews from the web
Customers waiting for takeout or tables in the low-lit dining room usually spill onto the street, especially after last call at nearby nightclubs. Pizza is served both New York-style, with a foldable thin crust, or in thick, doughy Sicilian wedges. Pies can be customized with newfangled toppings including spinach, fontina and sun-dried tomatoes, or traditional pepperoni, mushrooms and olives....

I went to Damiano around 11pm on a Wed. and yes it was scary in that place. Its dark and looks rundown. The service is okay, the pizza is a bit expensive in my opinion. I got a mushroom + peperoni. I must say the peperoni was horrible. I had to take them off the pizza. The pizza is way better than Vitos on La Cienega. The area has horrible parking though.
Pros
+ good pizza
Cons
- horrible...

I've been there many times, and they do have great pizza, but it's just not worth it for me to ever go again.
If you go, expect to wait 30-45 minutes before they START your pizza. I went last night, and ordered a large pizza. Our waitress never came to our table after taking our order and bringing us waters. We had been waiting for the pizza for over an hour and were starting to get...
