Help us make it rightMr. & Mrs. Miscellaneous is an ice cream shop that was opened in 2010 and quickly gained fans. Located in Dogpatch, the ice cream menu changes daily, but you can check their facebook page to see what they're serving. The shop also sells a whole array of freshly baked sweet treats like cookies, muffins and brittle.
The menu for this charming, bright shop located in San Francisco’s hipster Dogpatch neighborhood reads more like that of a cocktail lounge than an ice cream parlor. The boozy Old-Fashioned ice cream is studded with cherries soaked in Maker’s Mark bourbon. The Pink Squirrel combines crème de cacao and Crème de Noyaux (an almond flavored liqueur made from apricot kernels). The Ballpark features...
Good ice cream place with some nice and interesting flavors, located at the Dogpatch neighborhood and usually has a lot people waiting in lines to get in.
Similar to Humphrey Slocombe, Bi-Rite, and ShakeDown though located in the isolated Dogpatch neighborhood, Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous (shortened to Mr. and Mrs.) serves up simplistic flavors as...
After some BBQ and Brews on a Sunday afternoon, the family and I peeped over to the ridiculous sounding ice cream store next door. The line was out the door, but the ice cream justified for it. I...
Amazing organic ice cream that has the consistency of premium soft serve. I'm not quite sure if it's intentional, but it sure is appreciated! Their jasmine green tea is so rich, yet understated....
Mr. and Mrs. has been my go-to ice cream for quite awhile, and I finally get the pleasure to review it. In my book, Mr. and Mrs. beats Bi-Rite and its other competitors by the smallest of margins....
We make ice cream.
Every flavor of ice cream is made in one three-gallon batch each day. So depending on the day, if a flavor runs out, the owners whip up a new one, but it's always a different flavor.
The ice cream may be the star of the show, but the shop's owners also make homemade peanut and almond brittle, available for purchase in adorable and reusable mason jars. Scratch-baked cookies and peanut butter malt balls are also available.
Anyone hoping to impress an environmentalist will be happy to know that Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous abides by a very eco-friendly agenda. Empty glass jars of Strauss organic milk have been reused as vases and a compost trash bin is available for all discarded service ware (all of which is compostable). Even the straws are environmentally sound.
Though most customers choose to take their ice cream to go, the shop is actually quite nice for sitting and enjoying its amazing treats. There are plenty of long tables for big groups.
