I told him I was allergic to Lortab and sure enough, within 5 mins I was being scooted out the door with a prescription for LORTAB! I have had both of my hip replacements by Dr. Mahoney. He did a fantastic job on both and I was able to resume my active lifestyle with limited restrictions. In addition Dr. Mahoney has a great bedside manner and is very emphathetic in relation to the patients needs. The rehabilation also was great.
In fact although I live in Columbus, Ga.. I will probably have any other orthopedic issues...
I've had 3 surgeries there and did my physical therapy next door. They are really good doctors but they charged 24% interest on their bills!!!! I changed doctors and I tell everyone not to go there for that reason.
While Athens Orthopedic didn't necessarily pinpoint the problem exactly, they did take the time to listen to my symptoms and they did recommend a good physical therapist.
My hubby is an avid soccer player, we've been to seen these guys a few times, even had some surgery one time. Always easy to get an appointment, very little wait time and very friendly staff. I was also impressed the care that we received after each procedure, including a call home.
