The restaurant has been reliable for years, the annex overlooks the bay and at dinner time the crab boats were returning. We had fish tacos oysters and shrimp salads. The servers were quick and friendly. The food tasty and atmosphere entertaining. Good experience in old town Newport.
We've been coming to the coast for decades and routinely had to stop and have Mo's Clam Chowder at one of their several locations. At one time, the absolute best, but over the past few years the chowder seems to be more water and potatoes and less clam chowder. If you like your chowder to be thin, watery and lacking...
This old standby is as good as ever. Had the famous clam chowder and a great Oregon shrimp salad. My wife had salmon which arrived in a nice presentation and was excellent.
really enjoyed our lunch there. hostess kennedy pleasant and hardworking. we watched her handle seating,, busing tables and keeping everything running smoothly on a busy weekend day. our server nanette was very competent and friendly, checking back frequently to make sure all was well. the food was wonderful. we had steamers(delicious) clam chowder( even better than i remembered) and seafood...
