Food was so-so; barely edible. Place was NOISY, NOISY, NOISY beyond description!!! Absolutely refuse to be seated in the middle where the wait staff congregate getting orders. The front of the restaurant is pretty NOISY; the back is not as bad. Regarding hand-spun shakes made to order, it's a good concept if the ingredients are well mixed AND the shake...
I'm only giving them 1 star because I have to. Horrible service, slow service, wrong order, and on top of that they added 18% gratuity because we walked in with 2 other families and they would not take it off! Needless to say, we will never EVER recommend it, or be back.
I have gone to this location many times with coworkers and even sent over passing tourists. But tonight was just bad..the food was cold, my girlfriends food was also cold. The service at the Oakland location was disappointing. After being told that there was a waiting period, my party and I moved to the side as to not block the entrance/exit. While waiting 2 parties were seated before us. After finally mentioning this to one of the waiters, he said let go as if he was doing us a favor.
