I am a parent that was highly disappointed in the care and education my children were getting. No communication, lack of consistency, poor education, and materials used in the classroom are OLD. Only one of the teachers at the downtown location is a certified Montessori teacher. You are not allowed to go any further then the lobby...never to observe the classroom or talk to the teacher. I could go on and on. Please stay away if you are looking for quality care and education for your child.
I have a baby and toddler and need to find daycare. I have been to this location on several occasions to see what goes on. It is virtually impossible to pop in and see what your child is doing. They announce that you are there when you pull up and if you want to go look in the rooms they stall and then escort you. I have a friend that has her daughter there and they do this to her also. The receptionist is extremely snooty and can't be bothered to answer questions. The administrator seems to do actual daycare also, probably to avoid the cost of hiring someone. I went back to work when my daughter was two months old. I enrolled her at the MSODT and bonded with the 'teachers' immediately. My daughter loves everyone there and I can tell they love her too. It made going back to work so much easier knowing that she was getting all the love and attention that I would have provided myself. They spend a lot of time teaching her and helping her to grow and develop.
