At the undergraduate and graduate levels, MSU provides close to 300 majors, minors, concentrations and certificate programs, while remaining accessible and affordable. Our six schools and colleges prepare students to lead productive, rewarding and responsible lives in society and the world.
Most of my professors were great, some were ok, others were awful! The number one thing I hate about MSU is the parking/traffic, as most people do. Unfortunately this is a huge downside to the school as I was constantly late for class/work. Also the addition of crossing guards had to be the schools worst idea ever! Traffic has been 100000x worse!
They treat the students terrible. Have to go in on snow days. Risk our lives to get to mandatory classes or have penalized grades. Pay ridiculous amounts for parking. The head of communication dept never tried to help me. Awful school. Wasted so much money.
Have to say they pretty much ruined my life. Professors were awesome but when it came to the financial department, things took a turn for the worst. Denied me my financial aid cause apparently taxes were filed wrong. I came up with evidence that they were filed correctly of which they agreed they made a mistake and they said everything was good. What happens next? Still denied my aid and they...
Impossible to get ever get the information you need. They make it extremely difficult to do anything. Commuter or campus living, you're screwed either way. Also the construction is taking over my major's building so now we get to suffer
I love all the exercise I get going to Montclair! With all the parking lot/deck closures nearly every day due to being "full," I get to park miles away and run to class!
Build some more parking instead of a stupid statue. Thanks!
