Sibling to the Manhattan originals, this "busy" Summit Japanese BYO dishes out "generous portions" of "consistently good", "fresh" sushi; some think the "novelty has faded", and knock the fare as "overpriced" and service in "need of improvement", but the "fun", "large" setting with monster movie posters appeals to "families with children."
Food was always decent and they were good to young families, but unfortunately they couldn't compete and are closing their doors.

Monster is always a reasonable place for a good sushi meal. Their specialty rolls and dishes are very good (Soba, Udon, Teriyaki, etc.) and the service is generally timely and courteous. A nice place for a good sushi / Japanese meal.
There are not a ton of resteraunts that can please a Mom, an 18 year old and and 11 year old but this place did it.
