"Right in the thick of party town", this double-decker Downtown lounge gets high marks for its solid ice bartop that keeps drinks cold and "large" rooftop patio ("the place to be") that keeps customers cool; still, critics feel the crowd seems to be "auditioning for Jersey Shore."
The young turks at a nearby ad agency like to complain about their salaries during happy hour. The Russian hammer and sickle and other Soviet-themed propaganda empower them. Female bartenders will offer you a free drink then insist you pay for it even when they let on you wouldn't. Just leaves a very bad vibe when this is done (and it is done often). Terrible treatment of under 30's. Very clique-oriented, normal regulars are not given any reason to come back and are generally treated poorly by staff that don't particularly care.

Good place for meetups (like the Austin Tech Happy Hour), and a nice patio area on top. The servers are friendly though often swamped, and the prices are reasonable. I tend avoid downstairs.
