Wonderful Mediterranean Food

Moishes is located in Fairfax Farmer's market. It looks like it is just a typical stand, but the food is amazing, healthy and affordable. You can get gread side salads like baba ganouj, hummus, tabouleh, etc. or gyros, falefel, baklavah or any other Med staples. Since it is at Farmer's market, parking is no trouble and you have to sit where you can, but the atmosphere is very relaxing. HINT: Be prepared for scowls if you have not ordered a nanosecond after the staff looks at you!

In Short One look at the trays of brightly colored side dishes and sample plates, and it's easy to see why there's always a line at this popular Farmers Market eatery. The portions are generous, be it the kebab, gyro or falafel entrees, or side dishes like mouhamara (spicy walnut-and-red pepper dip), jajek, a yogurt-and-mint combination with chunks of cucumber and hummus.

Some of the best Mediterranean eats in town. The atmosphere is the same as any other in the Grove Farmer's Market -- on a sunny day, you can't beat it. This is authentic Middle Eastern / Mediterranean food, practically on par with Zankou! They prepare it fairly quickly and it never disappoints. The portions are generous.
