Expensive but great furnishings
I bought a fancy Italian lighting fixture here and had it for a few months before I was able to install it. But when I opened the box I realized I was been sent the wrong fixture. No problems! Modern Living came to pick up the fixture and located the one I needed in New Jersey (so I didn't have to wait weeks to get it). Now I have my lighting fixture installed. The people there are so helpful and accommodating.

agree with other users, they do have great collection! but thats it!!! its all down hill after that! they say that it will took about 12-16 weeks for your item to come from italy!!! but not in 17 or 18 weeks i have to wait SIX MONTH!!! furthermore i still missing couple of my items till TODAY 5/12/07 !!!! also 1 time they delivery my item damage, which they have to take back....BUT they still Charge ...

Similar to other consumers, I found Modern Living to have really nice high end furniture. However, service is REALLY BAD. I decided to memo a bed. They delivered a used bed, pretending it is a new one. It was actually scratched. I declined the bed. They still charged me several hundreds for delivering the defected bed. I strongly recommend you shop at Diva and avoid Modern Living. Not worth ...

The furniture is very contemporary and high-end. They've got a lot of really nice things from the best Italian designers around; however, the staff doesn't seem all that knowledgeable or particularly friendly. Prices are very high, as with most of the stores in this area.
