Eden Park is my favorite park in the city. It has the best views of the Ohio River and Northern Kentucky. You can walk along the sidewalks or pick a bench and enjoy the scenery. Mirror lake has a great place to spread out a blanket and eat a picnic lunch or toss ball with the kids. You can also visit Krohn Conservatory or walk up the hill to the Cincinnati Art Museum.

Located in Eden Park are the Cincinnati Art Museum and Krohn Conservatory (both have separate listings here, both excellent stops) but you will also find walking paths, overlooks, and a man-made reflecting pool with fountain. Close to downtown, it also can serve as a jumping off point to the adjacent Mt Adams neighborhood and its collection of bars and restaurants.... more

I found this park by mistake. After coming off the freeway, I made a wrong turn and ended up at the park. As I drove in, I looked over and saw the fountain. I decided to explore and was very surprised that this oasis of calm was nested nearly under the freeway. A gem of a place.
